not exactly what i expected.

i bought this rack to hold the my Fitness Gear cast iron hex dumbbells - Various Weights. Any dumbbell under 15 pounds does not seat correctly onto the rack. only the handle portion of the hex dumbbell sits on the rack the hex portion of the weight does not come in contact with the rack. maybe this rack is only good for Marcy dumbbells. this rack does not have any protective padding for the weights either, so expect metal on metal unless you have rubber coated dumbbells. i would like to return, but not sure if that would be ethical since i already assembled it. i marked that i would recommend -
For the price - very hard to beat!

I needed a dumbbell rack, and did not want to spend an arm and a leg - some similiar racks are quite expensive. After searching 2nd hand sporting goods stores and Craigslist - I came across this one at Walmart for only about $20 more then I was hoping to spend for a used one. I ordered it on their website and it arrived at my house about a week later. The offset design makes retrieving dumbbells easy - especially the heavy ones (#60 plus). The build quality of this item looks like items priced way higher. Some pros: build quality is high, and item looks good in my home gym. Design makes dumbbe
