Exactly what I needed to repair pvc pipe

Needed to add a float switch to an HVAC drain line. Using this connector made for easy work. After cutting the pvc pipe, added the float switch and used these connectors on either end to incorporate the float switch. If need be, can disconnect the connector sleeves for easy access to clean any blockage and hook it all back together in just a few minutes. Supply house had the best price and shipped the items quickly. -

The product works very well. The manufacture should consider a rubber coupling designed to go form pipe OD to Fitting OD. I had a crack at the pipe to fitting joint and used a 3inch to 4inch coupling but had to squeeze the 4inch side down to seal on the 3inch fitting OD. It did work but it would have been better if the coupling was sized to fit.
