Bridget S.Worth every pennyThis product, the ice system combined with the knee pad, is phenomenal. After surgery, my daughter could not have recovered anywhere near as quickly as she did without this system. I ordered the XL size because I was told it could easily adjust to a smaller size and that was great advice. She is slender and athletic but the XL adjusted down to her requirements. I would recommend this unit for anyone who has to undergo surgery, endure physical therapy or suffers from arthritis. It keeps the joint cool without totally numbing allowing continuous rehab. William C.A Most Helpful DeviceYes, buy this - it actually does what it says it does. It works and keeps the pad cold enough to help keep the swelling down after surgery - in this case Hip Surgery. The only down side to this is that it uses quite a bit of ice to create the cold - clever how the designers knew to mix water with ice for the most efficient cold generation.
