    I started out wanting to keep my spending under $1000, but Jamie patiently went through 1,000 questions and alternatives, trying to give me ways to come in within the price.     I was in a severe motorcycle wreck that split my pelvis & messed my back up. My wife at the time bought this chair for me as a surprise and I'm so glad she did. I would never have spent this much money on myself. Typical office chairs have a plywood seat with some padding stretched over and it quickly breaks down. As of 2021, I've had my HM for about 14 years. I've had two failures in that time. One, the arm rests would not stay locked at the proper height and the other, the cylinder failed.
