    I recently tried nightcap to help with cutting down on alcohol. Nightcap seemed perfect as I mostly drink late evening for a little tipple to help sleep. Effect - Nightcap definitely helped me feel relaxed and calm. I have had a wonderful restful sleep each time Ive had nightcap. Flavour - It has a strong spicy ginger flavour with sweet undertones. It is best on lots of ice or with a mixer. Try lemonade or ginger beer. Overall an acquired taste but one I enjoy. Cons - very expensive for just 50cl and the the 50ml suggested measure is definitely not enough to have any substantial effect. Especi

    Heavy on the ginger

    My wife enjoyed the Nightcap one. The Livener and Social Elixir are loaded with caffeine, which wasn't stated on the website. I suppose this is what is supposed to give you the lift, but I don't want the post-caffeine headaches. I found the predominant flavour in the ones I tasted to be ginger, I would guess this is intended to give the 'burn' of a spirit. While I do like ginger, I thought it quite a harsh burn without the smoothness of a good whiskey. I could do as well with a bottle of ginger beer from the corner shop. My wife may buy again, but for me it didn't pass the basic test of 'bette
