    Something changed

Posted by Disgruntled in healthproductsforyou on Sep 5th 2021

I've been using this product for over a year now, after finally finding a size that will accommodate my large abdomen and high waist. But there has been a subtle change in the way they are made that I don't like. The crotch area doesn't sit flat. There are two triple sewn rows of gathers, about 3 inches apart, sewn perpendicular to the pad, creating a pocket right in the middle. I assume this is to accommodate a male patient, but because it doesn't lay flat against a female body, I have trouble using a booster pad. The sewn in pocket causes the booster to bunch up in the middle, making it uncomfortable. I've been dealing with it by snipping through the outer layer of fabric where it's gathered, in several spots, to ease the tightness of the gather, and allow the extra pad to fit better. Better, but not well. Anyway, while this is the best overall fitting underwear for my body, I'm going to go back to try to find something that will better hold a booster pad at night time.

Great product that needs a little redesign

These disposable underwear are the most absorbent that I’ve tried, and are also the most comfortable, BUT, they need to make the crouch at least 50% wider. They need to be designed in appropriately proportional dimensions to the stated size of the underwear. A SMALL crouch just doesn’t work well for extra large sizes!

    Great for Plus Sized Woman

I've previously tried several different brands of incontinence briefs and found all of them to be poor fitting and uncomfortable. I am a 260+ lb woman with a big belly and a high waist, and most brands fall short of fitting over the curve of my hips to my waist, resulting in the top rolling or crawling down my body.

    Best Product Available

These Covidien Sure CarePlus briefs in XL are just the right size for me. I can pull them all the way to my waist, and not worry about them slipping. With my current urinary/kidney illness, I presently wear these briefs both day and night to avoid accidents, and they work great. Very absorbent--hold a quart or more liquid. Priced at less than $1 each makes this product economical for non-illness wear.
