I chatted online with brightlife before ordering these hose. I stated the woman's 7 was too tight for me. I ask if the mens was wider. Response was to order a size 6. I said no if 7 is too small 6 is going to be smaller. I was then assured the 7 was larger than the 7 petite. On your recommendation I ordered the size 7. They definitely are not larger only longer. So now I have two new pair of hose I cannot wear. The regular size 7 are even worse than the petite because if I get them on they cut into the back of my knees or wrinkle at the ankles. The Mediven is a high quality product. It is important to order the correct size. On my recent order I ordered a petite size and it made a big difference in how well the stocking controlled the swelling of my ankle and leg. I also ordered a size III instead of IV. My measurements didn't match the guide exactly so I decided to try the smaller size. So far I think it was a good decision. I was happy with the ease of ordering and the customer service of the company. I have worn compression stockings for years. I always use the donning gloves and the nylon sock to apply the stocking.
